REVIEW AND REPLACE . . .
This is standard practice with me and probably all system developers. The most recent system review involved the Mostly USA ETFs Portfolio and was completed in November of last year. Full details of that process appear there. Its steps are paralleled here in the present review of the Woldwide ETFs system.
The previous version (1.1) of the system is not really a problem. It performs nearly six times better than the market (SP500) over period shown and has the knack of avoiding bear markets and crashes.
Nevertheless, periodic system review is always appropriate--this one in particular to test the potential results here of the new timing module developed for the USA portfolio where it performed spectacularly.
The Short-term-timer oscillator is quite similar to the one which characterizes USA. More on that in a minute when I compare the two systems graphically side by side from inception. Meantime take a look at the similarity of the USA timer here with the one in the chart above.
The next two charts show graphic point-to-point comparison of both systems tracking side by side. Next.
