My last job was co-founder, chairman, and CEO of the parent firm of the current ICC Capital Management, a several-billion-dollar, national, institutional, pension-fund-management company headquartered in Orlando, Florida.

Before that twenty-year stint, I was director of marketing and client relations plus kibbitzing portfolio manager for The Boston Company of the Southeast, an affiliate of The Boston Company.

Before that I was a founding principal of the only company affiliated with Value Line (Arnold Bernhard & Co.) at the time.

I earned a BA at St. Joseph's University (then College) in Philadelphia, majored in English, minored in Philosophy--everybody minored in Philosophy at a Jesuit institution in those days.

Then I went to graduate school in the Department of English at the University of Pennsylvania. I wanted to be a professor, wear a tweed jacket, be a scholar, smoke a pipe, watch the pretty girls. I didn't like the regimen and the ineptness of some of the processes and dropped out.
