All listings are exchange-traded furnds except for Ursa
which is a mutual fund
and Treasury Bills
which are the safest investment in the world at the present time.
* Trades only in round lots (100 shares).
All others
trade in both round lots and less than 100-share lots.
All the ETFs are optionable except EPP, EWW,EWY, and GLD.
Ursa (Rydex) official name
is 'Inverse S&P500'.
It moves opposite
to the S&P500 Index.
When the Index goes down 10%,
Ursa goes up
10%, etc.
Using Ursa may cause some accounts some difficulties.
The best subsitute is to sell short SPY
or buy long SH.
The list does not contain SH at this time because of
insufficient historical price and volume data.
Sole criterion for inclusion in this list of 23 funds: a combination of maximum liquidity
and maximum volatility. If you do not see a fund here which you think belongs,
it has failed to
measure up better
than the ones above.
