The chart below is discontinued. I have substituted a new intermediate-term indicator which trades between two and three times a year. The indications are clear. When the Leading Trend is above the Lagging Trend in the special chart, the market trend is up, and the market is a buy--and vice versa. The chart is current through every Friday. A longer, two-and-a-half year version is shown here.

This timer has contributed to well above average results in past tests. It is one of the bases for a new trading system with abundant documentation that I have posted on the site. You might take a look.
